قطيش .. ! هكذا قرر اللغم .
Gateesh: this is what the landmine decided
أرادت أسرة النازح صالح مصلح قطيش
The family of a displaced Saleh Mosleh Qateesh
العودة لبيتها
wanted to return home,
الواقع في منطقة المنين التابعة لمدينة مأرب،
located in Manin area of Marib city,
بعد أن أُجبِر الحوثيون
after the Houthis were forced
على الانسحاب من المدينة.
to withdraw from the city.
كان ذلك في ٩ أكتوبر ٢٠١٥
It was on 9 October 2015.
لكن لغماً حوثيّاً كان مزروعاً أمام البيت
But a landmine that was planted in front of the house,
وقف لفرحتهم بالمرصاد،
broke their happiness,
بددها.
it eliminated their joy of the return.
انفجر بهذه الأسرة
The mine went off against the family members
محوّلاً الأجساد الآدمية لعجينة ممزقة من لحم ودم.
and changed their human bodies into a pasta of flesh and blood.
زوجة قطيش وابنه منيف البالغ من العمر ٤ سنوات
Qateesh’s wife, Moneef, his four-year son,
وابنته زهور البالغة ٦ أعوام، قتلوا.
and Zuhoor, his six-year daughter, all were killed.
وأصيبت ابنته هنود ابنة
And Hunood, his nine-year daughter,
التسعة أعوام بجروح بليغة.
sustained serious injuries.
لن تكون عودة حميدة،
It was not a good return,
هكذا قرر اللغم
this is what the mine decided.
