Haifa Mohammed Aklan..
I don't want to die...
On the evening of August 22, 2017, the child Haifa Mohammed Aqlan took her last breath
She was hit by a shrapnel mortar shell fired by the Houthis at her house in Jabal Sabr Taiz.
The child appeared in videos documenting her last moments, moments when her family and neighbors were unable to help her.
She chants: "Meshish, I die" (I do not want to die) while her father repeats to her, terrified: "Mesh Tamtesh" (You will not die).
But she died! She left behind hearts that were broken by pain and squeezed by sadness.
She died torn from guts, not more than five years old!
