Abdul Rahman … my shoes !
On the night of Eid al-Adha 2018 , Abdulrahman, 8 years old, was secretly sneaking into the wardrobe, eagerly contemplating Eid clothes and his new shoes, waiting impatiently for Eid to dawn.
In the morning, Abdul Rahman went with his father and uncle to Eid prayers in Daboua - Taiz , and as soon as the prayer ended, the terrorist Houthi militia shells fell on the worshippers .
A heinous massacre that killed ten people and wounded more than 20, most of them children .
Abdulrahman was injured by shrapnel that pierced his feet, abdomen and hand , and in the hands of his paramedics he shouted demanding his shoes !
In the place of the massacre, the bodies and blood of the victims were scattered, and Abdul Rahman's shoes remained there on the grounds of the chapel as evidence of the happiness of a stolen child, and a witness to the brutality of the murderers, which respected neither prayer , nor the great religious occasion, nor the blood of innocent people.
