Said's mother... barefoot!
A displacement campaign carried out by the Houthi militia in the Adnah area, Sabr Al-Mawadim District, Taiz Governorate.
On January 15, 2018, the Houthi militia had displaced about 30 families, including Umm Saeed.
Umm Sa 'id, 65, was trying to wear her shoes, but the militia rushed her, throwing her out , forcibly abandoned Umm Sa 'id barefoot from her house, which knows nothing of the world except shelter and homeland .
With bitterness of horror and bereavement, Umm Saeed recounts the details of displacement, " sick and at the end of my life , they left us barefoot, God , and prevented us from taking livestock, our clothes, and even our cheap shoes."
With the wrinkles of her majestic life, the tears of amazement and alienation sparkle with the eyes of Umm Sa 'id, who was deprived by the Houthi militia of the conclusion of her life under the roof of her safe house, where she spent the most beautiful years of her life, in amazement looking at the camera and her fragile bones barely carrying her on a journey of displacement , and on the ground two feet cracked from the length of the journey.
