The Fifty-Sixth Story:
Beautiful.. I was flying!
Who would plant mines in the way of civilians… who would stuff them with pillows of little ones… who would plant them among dreams in a dream…? Only the Houthi terrorist militias do this.
International law stipulates that it is prohibited to plant individual mines militarily, so how about when they are planted away from the battlefield in a sheep pasture...!
On May 14, 2016, Jamila Qassem Mahyoub - 45 years old - was returning with her sheep when an individual mine exploded in her, toppling her legs.
"I was surprised with one leg amputated and the other broken and hanging by the skin," says Jamila, a mother of six, as she recalls the crime with horror and incomprehension.
"The mine exploded and I felt myself flying in the air and fell on a second mine that did not explode.."
The mother did not return that night to her young with milk, they slept that night without dinner, without a mother, and without the sheep of the house.
