The Seventy-Second Story:
Taiba… the handicapped bride!
Twenty days is the distance between Thebes and happiness... Twenty steps is the distance between Thebes and disaster!
The countdown to the game of Destiny and the ticking of the clock begins... then an explosion... then Taiba without legs!.
At five o'clock in the evening of June 22, 2017, Taiba Mohammed Mahyoub Ahmed, 18 years old from the isolation of Al-Wafi - Taiz, on her way back from visiting her friend, Taiba stumbled upon a mine planted by the Houthi terrorist militia.
Taiba lost her left leg and broke her right leg… Taiba who was supposed to be with her groom on the chair of Kusha Al-Farah after twenty days, the Houthi mine referred her to the wheelchair.
And because every weakness is a kindness and a consolation the size of love and respect, her suffering fiancé remained with her.
The militia can plant mines and take away limbs and lives, but it cannot remove love and sympathy, nor inculcate hatred and disperse hearts... this is a good story... a woman from a homeland mined by Houthi terrorism.
